Job summary

The University Counseling Center (UCC) at the University of Utah invites applications for a full-time staff psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a benefitted, 12-month position with responsibilities including individual, group and relationship counseling, initial consultations, crisis intervention and clinical supervision.

The successful candidate will hold a Utah psychologist license, manage a full caseload, and work collaboratively with students and staff.

Qualifications

• Ph.D or Psy.D. degree from an APA accredited graduate program in counseling, school or clinical psychology or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
• Current licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Utah.
• One year experience in psychotherapy, group or family therapy within a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial consultations and crisis intervention services.
• Conduct individual, couple/relationship, and group psychotherapy.
• Provide outreach presentations to the campus community.
• Provide clinical supervision and actively participate in other training-related activities.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
