Cornell University is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join Cornell Health, providing consultation, medication management, and collaborative care for Cornell's diverse student body. You will work with CAPS, behavioral health teams, and clinicians to ensure seamless patient care and adherence to best practices.

You will contribute to a data-informed, integrated ambulatory health environment focused on holistic student well-being and timely mental health support across campuses.

Qualifications

• NYS license as Nurse Practitioner and PMHNP board certification or eligibility.
• Master's degree in clinical specialty or equivalent.
• CPR-BLS certification obtained within one year of employment and maintained biannually.
• Sophisticated ability to evaluate the mental health of students across diverse identities.
• Leadership skills to use data to drive decisions and maintain treatment protocols.

Responsabilités

• Provide psychiatric consultation and medication management.
• Collaborate with Counseling & Psychological Services and medical clinicians to ensure continuity of care.
• Manage psychiatric emergencies and coordinate with psychiatrists when needed.
• Support a campus-wide culture of belonging and holistic student health.
