Job summary

University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for Penn students. The NP reports to the Director of Integrated Care and works with a multidisciplinary team in SHaC to deliver high-quality mental health services.

This essential position requires an MSN with 3–5 years of experience, PA license, and an unrestricted DEA license.

Qualifications

• MSN required; 3–5 years of experience preferred.
• Licensed in PA with unrestricted DEA license.
• Experience with psychiatric treatment of college students is preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention and medication management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for Penn students.
• Direct clinical psychiatric services including diagnostic evaluations and emergency consultations.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and trainees.
• Supervises psychiatric NP interns.
• Provides on-call coverage during day and after hours on a rotating basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
