Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 20 years of age and able to obtain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must complete certification by the Georgia Peace Officers' Standards and Training Council.
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide campus security through patrols of university property and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Respond to calls for service including parking, fire, and traffic issues and ensure safety of all personnel and visitors.
• Work flexible shifts and hours as required.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to maintain security.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and be able to testify when needed.
