Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is seeking a Police Officer I in Police Services to perform law enforcement functions across campus, under supervision of a Lieutenant and possibly the Director. Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or minimum 60 credits from an accredited school.
• Must possess a valid WI driver's license with clean record.
• Must be able to complete Wisconsin Law Enforcement Recruit training or be currently certified.
• No unpardoned felony convictions or domestic violence convictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection of life and property and emergency aid.
• Engage in investigations to identify suspects and document case information.
• Enforce laws and campus parking regulations; conduct patrols on foot or by bike.
• Provide crowd control and traffic direction; assist EMS as needed.
• Maintain proficiency in CPR/BLS, firearms, and defensive tactics.
