Job summary

Flour Bluff ISD is seeking a District Police Officer for the 2026/2027 school year to safeguard campus communities and coordinate with staff and local agencies. The role involves patrolling district properties, responding to incidents, and enforcing laws to maintain a safe learning environment.

The officer will work closely with administrators, students, and external law enforcement, ensuring compliance with district policies and professional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Texas Peace Officer License (TCOLE).
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Completion of restorative practices, behavioral health, diversity training, TxSSC SABLE #4064, and basic NASRO training or equivalent within 180 days of placement.
• Police Bike Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol district campuses to protect individuals and property.
• Respond to crisis calls, investigate incidents, and enforce laws.
• Prepare legal incident reports and coordinate with other agencies.
• Maintain safety and order, manage access to district facilities.
• Work independently and as part of a team to support student safety.
