Job summary

University of Oklahoma Health Campus Police is hiring Police Officers to protect people, property, and campus life. Responsibilities include patrolling on foot or by vehicle, responding to emergencies, investigating incidents, and providing security for events and CSAs.

Opportunities for growth and paid training are offered. Required are a High School diploma or GED, CLEET certification within 6 months, CPR certification, and passing medical and fitness tests with psychometric assessments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be certified as a Peace Officer by CLEET within 6 months of hire.
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
• Must pass medical exam and physical fitness test.
• Must pass standardized written aptitude test and psychometric tests (MMPI and CPI).

Responsibilities

• Enforce laws and university policies; patrol on foot or by vehicle.
• Respond to emergencies and investigate crimes and traffic incidents.
• Prepare reports, collect evidence, and testify in court.
• Perform duties as Campus Security Authority (CSA) and assist the campus community.
• May perform armed courier duties and provide event security.
