Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CLEET Police Officer Certified.
• Must complete a minimum of 25hrs CLEET continuing education including 2hrs mental health and firearms requalification per year to retain certification.
• Possession of a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all applicable codes, statutes, and ordinances; arrest offenders when warranted.
• Enforce East Central University rules and regulations.
• Protect life and property on campus and preserve the peace.
• Provide protection against harmful acts, on and off campus as necessary.
• Patrol the campus by vehicle and on foot to safeguard people, grounds, buildings and equipment.
• Cooperate with local law enforcement agencies; investigate criminal acts and prepare case records for court.
