Job summary

UC Irvine Police Department is seeking entry-level or lateral Police Officers to join a dedicated team protecting a large university campus and medical center network. Under supervision, officers conduct patrols, investigations, and public safety duties across campus and health locations.

Applicants should be enrolled in or have completed a California P.O.S.T. Basic Academy and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to prepare clear, detailed reports.
• Knowledge of laws, ordinances, and police procedures.
