Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor radio transmissions via a two-way police radio.
• Dispatch emergency complaints to the officers.
• Monitor surveillance cameras for fires and illegal entry.
• Relay messages regarding police officers' safety.
• Make written records of all radio and telephone transmissions.
• Operate a personal computer system for criminal justice information.
• Assist in the operation and transmission of the Emergency Alert.
