Los Rios Community College District seeks a Police Captain to plan, coordinate, and direct the operation of an armed college police department ensuring the safety of students, staff, visitors and facilities. The role includes training, supervising, and evaluating personnel and acting as incident commander during emergencies.

The ideal candidate will hold a California POST Advanced Certificate, maintain firearms licensure, and oversee department readiness and collaboration with external law

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Three years of experience as a law enforcement officer with two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• POST Advanced Certificate and licensed to carry firearms.
• Complete POST Supervisory course within one year of hire.

Responsabilités
