Job summary

Bowdoin College is seeking a Casual Parking Enforcement Attendant to enforce campus parking regulations under Safety and Security. The role supports safety and works with officers, students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

This onsite, part-time position runs 11:00 am–3:00 pm, less than 19 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $18.40. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills are required; background checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of campus areas to maximize documentation accuracy.
• Assist in providing information and maintaining good public relations with the campus and local communities.
• Identify vehicles in violation and issue warnings or violations per Parking regulations.
• Relay information to Safety and Security Communications during incidents or emergencies.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions such as malfunctioning signals or missing signage.
