Job summary

Chaminade University of Honolulu is seeking a Senior Orientation Leader to support New Student Orientation. You’ll work with the event lead to coordinate logistics, prepare materials, and ensure program readiness while mentoring other Orientation Leaders.

Qualifications

Must have at least one year of experience as an Orientation Leader (or similar campus leadership).
Current and full-time day undergraduate student at Chaminade University of Honolulu.
Completed a minimum of 12 Chaminade University of Honolulu credits at the time of application.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Event Lead to prepare planning documents, schedules, supplies, and logistics.
Assist in coordinating and executing activities and events during New Student Orientation.
Lead training sessions and serve as a mentor and support resource for Orientation Leaders, providing guidance and modeling professional conduct.
Support communication efforts with students and families by providing accurate information and positive customer service.
Serve as a peer leader, offering guidance, coaching, and peer support to Orientation Leadership.
Assist in hiring processes for new Orientation Leaders, including application review, interviewing, and candidate evaluations.
