Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party is seeking Campus Fellows to join our Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign, supporting Talarico team and Democratic candidates up and down the ballot across Texas. Fellows will build and lead the volunteer and voter contact infrastructure on their campuses which will translate this high energy election into a high turnout election.

This is a part-time role running Sept 8 through Nov 6, 2026, at 15 hours per week and $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a Texas college or university for Fall 2027.
• Commitment to the Texas Democrats mission and values.
• Strong time management and initiative.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Access to a phone and laptop for campaign work.
• In-person collaboration with students and staff on campus.

Responsibilities

• Organize voter contact events on campus with manager support.
• Build and recruit volunteers to meet voter contact goals.
• Represent the campaign on campus to supporters, volunteers, and voters.
• Maintain data integrity with timely, accurate data entry.
• Develop creative on-campus outreach strategies for voter contact.
• Provide regular reporting on voter activity, especially GOTV.
