Job summary

Indian Rocks Church in Largo, FL is seeking a Campus Operations Support to help keep the campus safe, clean and ready for worship and events.

You will inspect buildings and grounds, assist with maintenance requests, support custodial services, and coordinate campus readiness across its Pinellas County campuses while modeling a Christ-centered lifestyle.

This role requires hands-on problem solving, attention to detail, and reliability to support the church’s mission.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of equipment use, including power tools.
• Physical capabilities: standing/walking, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel to multiple Pinellas County campuses.

Description

The Campus Operations Support is responsible for assisting in maintaining a safe and clean campus while supporting the mission, vision and values of Indian Rock Church and School. This role requires attention to detail and hands‑on problem‑solving skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the facilities and equipment to uphold the church’s ministry.

• Must give testimony and evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and sense the call of God to a serving ministry.
• Help inspect the building, grounds, and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and safety in compliance with local and state building codes and safety regulations
• Helping facilitate campus readiness for Sundays and other special services
• Support cleaning and custodial services
• Assists in repair and maintenance requests as instructed by supervisor

Requirements

• Basic Knowledge of the use of equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, etc.
• Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to travel to multiple campuses within Pinellas County
• Responsible to perform other duties as assigned and approved by supervising personnel, to include, but not limited to: Lead Pastor, Church Administrator, Head of Schools or Personnel Committee

• Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the; the Mission, Statement of Faith, and Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks
• Must be an active member of Indian Rocks as defined by regular attendance in worship services, regular attendance/involvement in an Indian Rocks Connection Group or Small Group, commitment to systematic stewardship, and faithful in tithing.
• Responsible to perform the other duties as assigned and approved by supervising personnel to include, but not limited to: Lead Pastor, Church Administrator, Assistant Director of HR, or Personnel Committee.
