Job summary

Salem College is seeking an Operations Student Worker to assist in Grounds, Custodial, Mail Services and Maintenance functions across campus. You will report to department supervisors and help keep campus facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Must have a valid driver's license and the stamina to perform physical tasks, lift up to 70 pounds, and work rotating shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed. Equal opportunity employer and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimal experience in operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine grounds, custodial, mail services and maintenance tasks.
• Drive vehicles and small equipment to travel to work sites.
• Notify managers about repairs or additions to buildings and submit work orders as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of campus facilities and properties.
• Work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather as required.
