Job summary

Salem College is seeking an Operations Student Worker to assist in Grounds, Custodial, Mail Services and Maintenance functions across campus. You will report to department supervisors and help keep campus facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Must have a valid driver's license and the stamina to perform physical tasks, lift up to 70 pounds, and work rotating shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed. Equal opportunity employer and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

Title: College – Operations Student WorkerStudent Supervisor: Executive Director of OperationsPosition SummaryUnder the general direction of the Executive Director of Operations, as an essential employee, the Operations Student Worker will be assigned to one of the four departments within Operations (Grounds, Custodial Mail Services, and Maintenance) as needed. While assigned to a department, the Operations Student Worker will report to the supervisor/lead of each respective department while performing assigned work. Once assigned, the Operations Student Operations Student Worker will commonly provide routine grounds maintenance, housekeeping, and maintenance functions and any other duties assigned.
