Sandhills Community College seeks a dedicated housekeeping staff member to perform interior and exterior cleaning and to support grounds, maintenance, and event set-up across campus. The role may require after-hours and weekend work.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, CMMS-based preventive tasks, non-PM work orders, and coordination with the Housekeeping Director. A professional appearance and safety training are required, with opportunity to contribute to a family-friendly campus

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and ability to perform light to heavy duty housekeeping tasks.
• Experience using mobile device technology including apps, messaging, etc.
• Ability to participate in safety and housekeeping training and to comprehend and practice it in the course of duty.
• Ability to interact, communicate and maintain effective relations with students, the public, faculty, and staff.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize and conduct routine preventive housekeeping duties on buildings, building components and equipment as assigned through CMMS.
• Prioritize, create, and complete non-PM work orders assigned through CMMS.
• Ensure mobile device protocol is followed and devices are charged and available.
• Conduct general housekeeping of buildings and report maintenance needs to the Director of Housekeeping.
• Perform housekeeping in dining/lounge areas and restrooms on a rotating schedule.
• Assist with furniture moves and set-ups for events.
• Support grounds and maintenance as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
• Perform duties during inclement weather, including storm cleanup and snow removal.
• Report after inclement weather events to clean and remove snow and ice.
