Job summary

The Pingry School in Basking Ridge is looking for a full-time Operations Officer to support a safe and efficient campus environment. This role combines front-of-house hospitality with behind-the-scenes operations logistics and safety coordination.

Working primarily Tuesday to Saturday, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, conducting security rounds, and collaborating across departments for event coordination.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a school, hospitality, or front-facing environment is strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and manage phone and email inquiries.
• Conduct routine security rounds and monitor campus surveillance.
• Manage incoming mail and assist with event logistics.
