Job summary

Savannah Technical College is seeking a Campus Operations Coordinator to serve as the primary operational liaison for the campus, leading daily operations and ensuring a welcoming, safe learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The role collaborates across academic and administrative units to support facilities, safety, student success, and community partnerships, with a focus on proactive issue resolution and effective communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of work experience related to the duties and responsibilities of this position.
• Experience coordinating campus operations across multiple departments is preferred.
• Experience supervising employees or leading cross-functional teams is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise software systems such as Banner or Workday.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the assigned campus to ensure efficient services.
• Serve as primary contact for campus operational issues and coordinate solutions with College departments.
• Collaborate with Facilities to maintain safe, clean, and well‑maintained spaces.
• Coordinate facility rentals and ensure spaces are prepared for events.
• Oversee campus fleet vehicle availability, maintenance coordination, and checkout procedures.
• Support campus security and emergency preparedness in partnership with Campus Police.
• Assist Campus Police in emergencies and in enforcing College policies.
• Work with Academic Affairs to support instructional operations and classroom readiness.
• Identify operational needs and communicate improvement recommendations to leadership.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and participate in Campus Engagement Committee.
