Job summary

College of Southern Idaho is hiring for a versatile Campus Operations Assistant to support events, custodial tasks, mail services, and inventory across campus. You will help set up rooms, move furniture, and assist with maintenance trades as needed.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work independently or with a team, including possible early or late shifts in all weather conditions. High school diploma is required, with forklift and aerial platform training provided.

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow directions and work independently with accountability.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for public and CSI staff interactions.
• Adequate physical strength and mobility to perform job tasks is required.

Responsibilities

• Move furniture and equipment and set up rooms for meetings, events, and graduation.
• Provide custodial support, waste/recycling handling, and mail services.
• Inventory and track location of furniture and major furnishings across campus.
• Assist other maintenance trades as needed and perform preventive checks.
• Occasional early morning or late-night shifts and outdoor work in varying conditions.
