Job summary

Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises is seeking a Student Assistant A to help with a variety of tasks across campus services. The role focuses on customer service, teamwork, and professional growth while supporting daily operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a Cal Poly Pomona Student.
• High School Diploma or GED; minimum of 6 months quick service restaurant experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Obtain SERV Safe Certification within 30 days of hire date for individuals handling food items.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general office tasks and tutoring.
• Provide customer service and handle inquiries by phone, email, or in person.
• Support food service operations including cash handling and serving.
• Prepare documents/materials as necessary.
• Communicate progress to supervisor and work in a diverse team.
• Assist with special projects.
• Duties performed under supervision and in collaboration with staff.
