Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago is seeking a College Work Study Student to support a busy student services office. You will greet visitors, assist in daily office tasks, and help with data entry and filing to keep operations running smoothly.

This on-site role offers exposure to campus administration, flexible hours, and the chance to gain experience while pursuing your studies. Applicants must be enrolled in at least 6 semester hours, maintain a 2.0 GPA, and be 16 or older with work eligibility in the

Qualifications

Applicants must be 16 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
Applicants must be actively attending one of the City Colleges of Chicago.
Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester hours of pre-credit or credit classes.
Applicants must be pursuing an approved educational credential, degree, or certificate.
Applicants must have and maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA (waived for first semester new students).
Applicants must be in good standing and not a current CCC employee.
All positions are employment at-will.

Responsibilities

Assist at reception desk, greeting students, faculty and staff entering office.
Assists staff in the day-to-day functions of the Office.
Provides support on various projects and assignments as needed.
Provides general office support including filing, faxing, photocopying, and Data entry.
Adheres to the City Colleges of Chicago Customer Services Excellence Standards.
