Job summary

The Nutrition Education Coordinator at University of Georgia supports health promotion, prevention, and student well‑being initiatives by developing, implementing, and evaluating nutrition education and wellness programming across campus. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition, Kinesiology, Health Education, or related discipline preferred.
• Two or more years of professional experience in health education, nutrition programming, wellness promotion, or related student well-being initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence‑informed nutrition education and wellness programming.
• Coordinate cooking classes, demonstrations, and experiential learning opportunities.
• Lead nutrition education initiatives in collaboration with campus partners and Health Promotion staff.
• Provide cooking education, peer educator development, and student wellness programming support.
• Support internship, practicum, and experiential learning opportunities for students.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance effectiveness across diverse student populations.
