Job summary

PowerSchool is seeking a Food Service Worker to support meal services in a school setting. Under supervision, you will prepare and serve items, manage portions, and assist with cashier duties to support daily meals.

You will work with a team to maintain safety and sanitation standards, operate kitchen equipment, and help communicate food needs to ensure smooth campus dining operations.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Must possess a valid Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of menu items.
• Set up serving lines and serve food according to meal schedules.
• Store and handle food items and supplies safely and maintain a clean storage area.
• Convey food and supplies from kitchen to meal service areas and campus events.
• Operate tools and equipment per safety standards and maintain cleanliness.
• Keep work areas clean, sanitary, and organized.
• May perform cashier duties or assist in meal counting and cashier transactions.
• Maintain daily food preparation records and communicate needs to the Site Manager.
• Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
