Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Master’s degree in Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner plus CPR certification.
• Current active Maryland NP license and national certification as a Family or Adult NP.
• Experience in ambulatory health care or college health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive health assessment, diagnosis and treatment of college students’ health problems.
• Monitor immunization requirements for full-time students.
• Prescribe, dispense, or recommend prescriptions and administer treatments as required.
• Collaborate with Wellness Center staff to develop policies and procedures for student health.
• Perform CLIA-waived testing (rapid strep, rapid flu, pregnancy tests, etc.).
