Job summary
The Texas A&M University System Offices in Bryan, Texas is hiring a Network Technician II to support enterprise network infrastructure at the RELLIS Campus. You will assist with wired and wireless networks, telecommunications equipment, and cabling to ensure reliable connectivity for academic, research, administrative, and public safety operations.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
- One year of technical experience with network switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Knowledge of network installation and troubleshooting principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including switches and APs.
- Monitor network performance and respond to issues.
- Assist with upgrades and maintenance activities.
- Document changes and inventories.
- Respond to service requests and incident tickets.
- Follow cybersecurity standards and manage equipment lifecycle.
- Participate in after-hours maintenance and campus events.
