Job summary

Epic is seeking a Network Engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. You will evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure, designing and troubleshooting WAN connectivity.

The role emphasizes infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible, within a collaborative team focused on keeping Epic's network running smoothly for healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and/or UPSes.
• Up-to-date CCNA or CCNP certification helpful.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area reimbursed.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or preferred.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Design and troubleshoot WAN connectivity.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Configure firewall rules and maintain network security.
