FCUSD is seeking a campus monitor to help maintain a safe and orderly environment on and around school campuses. The role involves active supervision and reporting of any unauthorized activities to designated supervisors.

The position requires knowledge of school policies, adherence to safety procedures, and completion of mandatory trainings. This is a daytime, on-site role at FCUSD facilities in California.

Job Announcement

Under the supervision of a secondary school administrator, will help maintain a safe and orderly environment by monitoring the school campus and otheradjacent areas as may be assigned; to report unauthorized activities to appropriate supervisory personnel.

Positions in this class are established only at the secondary school level.

Minimum Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE:
Established school policies and procedures.
Physical abilities include the usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions and require the following physical demands: occasionallifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching; reaching, handling, touching and/or feeling; manual dexterity to operate a telephone and enter data into a computer. Employees in this position will be required to work outdoors and indoors in a standard office environment and come in direct contact with district staff, students, and the public.

Upon Conditional Offer of Employment

• DOJ and FBI Criminal Background Check
• TB Test within the last 60 days (Education Code 49406, Assembly Bill 1667)
• Complete district Mandated Reporter training, Sexual Harassment, etc.
