Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA seeks a Campus Staff Minister to serve the Virginia campus, focusing on graduate and faculty ministry. This full-time role advances the Gospel among students and faculty and involves leadership development, program design, and campus outreach.

You will recruit and mentor leaders, build witnessing communities, and collaborate with national staff. The position is funded by donor support and includes a benefits package as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.
• An Associate’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college.
• Strong interpersonal skills (including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software

Responsibilities

• Spiritual Growth: pursue maturity as a disciple of Jesus and reflect love for God and people.
• Campus Leadership: guide vision, build a culture of dependence on God, lead through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship.
• Missional Developer: develop diverse groups to advance campus mission and equip them to share the gospel.
• Organizational Collaboration: partner with supervisors, participate in meetings, and submit required forms.
• Ministry Partnership Development: build partnerships to fund ministry and communicate with donors
