InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is seeking a Student Intern for Undergraduate Ministry in California Northern. The role focuses on learning the basics of college campus ministry and is limited to students enrolled in a four-year or community college.

It offers opportunities to grow in leadership, evangelism, and discipleship while collaborating with campus teams. The position is part-time with compensation funded through donor support, and compensation varies based on fundraising success

Qualifications

• Follower of Jesus Christ is required and commitment to InterVarsity's Statement of Agreement.
• Demonstrates potential for campus ministry leadership and teamwork.
• Shows developing passion for evangelism and discipleship.
• Ability to engage well with students, staff, and ministry partners.

Responsibilities

• Participate with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Contribute to plans for spiritual growth and transformation on campus.
• Teach students to study Scripture and apply it to daily life.
• Promote InterVarsity's mission and witness on the university campus.
• Engage with supervision and training from staff ministry trainer/director.
• Assist with reporting and monitoring of ministry activities.
• Serve as an ambassador to ministry partners and churches through prayer and outreach.
