InterVarsity Press is seeking a Student Intern for Field SFSU to learn the basics of college campus ministry and grow in spiritual leadership while working as part of a campus ministry team in California Northern.

The internship targets students enrolled in four-year or community colleges, emphasizing growth in ministry skills, biblical understanding, and service. This part-time role includes fundraising-based compensation and a rich benefits package designed for student staff.

Responsibilities

• Participate and engage with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Contribute to the accomplishment of the campus ministry team’s plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
• Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Promote the Mission on campus and advance witnessing communities that are bolder, broader, and more ethnically diverse.
• Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students and assist staff supervision and training.
• Assist with reporting and act as an ambassador of InterVarsity to ministry partners and churches.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
