Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is seeking an Area Ministry Director for Western PA to lead undergraduate ministry on college campuses and shape a diverse, gospel-centered community.

The role emphasizes spiritual growth, visionary campus leadership, and strategic collaboration across local, area, and national teams, with a focus on developing ministers, staff, and partners in a dynamic higher-education landscape.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum three years campus ministry or equivalent work experience
Strong ministry skills including ability to communicate spiritual vision, teach, plan programs and mentor

Responsibilities

Model spiritual maturity and growth in God’s Word and mission
Inspire, coach and develop campus staff ministers, students and faculty to grow witnessing communities
Participate in regional leadership and value collaboration with national InterVarsity ministers
Develop and sustain MPD (ministry partner development) and funding relationships
Lead organizational planning, budgeting, and program alignment to advance ministry goals
Perform other assigned tasks and travel as required
