Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is seeking a Campus Staff Minister to lead, develop, and multiply witnessing communities on college campuses in Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania. The role involves spiritual leadership, program development, and collaboration with a national network of staff and volunteers.

You will supervise teams, recruit partners, and raise funds to support ministry, with a focus on vision casting, training, and campus transformation as students and faculty

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus. A minimum of an Associate’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college
• Strong interpersonal skills (including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software

Responsibilities

• Pursue a vibrant relationship with the triune God through Scripture, prayer, and worship, both individually and in community
• Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences, so that they articulate and align their ministry activities around this vision
• Create leadership teams and develop annual goals, evaluating and modifying the plan as needed throughout the year
• Mobilize students and faculty to engage their relational networks with the gospel and to start new witnessing communities
• Collaborate with national InterVarsity staff and volunteers to reflect Biblical standards of excellence and partnership
