Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in Iowa seeks a Campus Staff Minister to lead graduate and faculty ministry on the campus in a full-time role. You will help grow witnessing communities of students and faculty, and collaborate with volunteers and staff to advance the gospel.

The role emphasizes spiritual growth, campus leadership, organizational collaboration, and missional development as you shepherd diverse campus communities toward greater impact for Christ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.
• A minimum of an Associate’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college.
• Strong interpersonal skills (including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.

• Create ways for faculty and students to encounter and follow Jesus.
• Equip students and faculty to think strategically about campus engagement.
