Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or group counseling and conducting outreach.
• Must be licensed in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist).

Responsabilités

• Provide mental health services to students at the Counseling Center.
• Provide programming/outreach and training to campus community.
• Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, conduct intakes and assessments.
• Provide clinical supervision to interns, including review and signing of case notes, and meeting with interns weekly to provide feedback on performance and development.
• Provide 24 hour on-call crisis intervention services.
• Engage in clinical case staff meetings to include clinical feedback.
• Conduct outreach programing campuswide including Housing and Residence Life, various departments, classrooms, and student organizations on various topics pertaining to mental health, assisting emotionally distressed students, and resources.
• Provide referrals and coordinate treatment and care with community mental health providers and stakeholders.
