Job summary

The University of East London is seeking a Student Mental Health Practitioner to join Student Services on Docklands Campus. You will provide rapid triage, informal clinical assessments, and ongoing caseload support for students presenting with emotional and mental health needs.

You will work in a team, deliver 1:1 assessments and interventions, and run workshops/groupwork while upholding safeguarding responsibilities in a fast-moving university environment.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge and experience of mental health in higher education.
• Ability to provide 1:1 assessments and interventions and run workshops.
• Ability to assess and manage risk with safeguarding responsibilities.
• Experience managing a full client caseload in a fast-moving university environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid triage and informal clinical assessments.
