Job summary

Northern Kentucky University is seeking a Material Handler/Recycler (Labor Crew) to support the Supervisor in prioritizing and completing work orders and special events. The role involves moving and delivering supplies, sorting recyclables, operating hand trucks and other equipment, and assisting with campus snow removal as needed.

As a key member of the Operations & Maintenance team, you will work with the Lead to plan workloads, ensure safety, and respond to emergencies after hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Safety minded and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor with prioritizing and completing work orders.
• Move and deliver supplies and recyclables around campus.
• Sort, shred, and bail cardboard and other recyclables; operate related equipment.
• Assist with snow/ice removal and respond to emergencies as needed.

Education

High school diploma/GED with 1 year of related experience; CDL preferred
