Job summary

Silgan Dispensing is seeking a Connecticut Campus Operations Leader to guide a multi-site manufacturing campus. You will oversee safety, quality, delivery, and cost while driving profitability and cash flow. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership and a track record of scaling operations.

You will lead teams across Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Maintenance, aligning with corporate strategy and NPD initiatives to deliver sustainable growth and excellent customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, business or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience with plant or general management responsibility.
• Experience leading multi-functional teams across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Service, and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience managing manufacturing operations with 100–250+ employees and full P&L accountability.
• Minimum 10 years in injection molding and high-speed automated assembly environments.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, polymers, and manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain a high-performance culture with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Lead campus operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, profitability, and cash flow objectives.
• Develop and execute strategic and annual operating plans for business growth.
• Prepare and manage site budgets, ensuring cost control and financial commitments.
• Drive Lean and standardized processes, performance management, and continuous improvement.
• Lead manufacturing operations to meet customer, quality, and delivery expectations.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to strengthen customer relationships and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Engineering and NPD to ensure successful launches and capital projects.
• Evaluate investments in technology, equipment, and systems to improve safety and productivity.
• Foster cross-site communication and share best practices across the organization.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and mentor leaders and employees; support succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with policies, the SDS Code of Conduct, and regulatory requirements.
• Champion EHS, Quality, and Lean initiatives to drive operational excellence.
