Ector County Independent School District Maintenance Services in Odessa, TX, is hiring for Campus Maintenance. This nonexempt, full-time position reports to the Grounds Foreman with a pay grade of 7 and 247 days per year. Starting date is immediate; salary ranges from $19 to $26.50 per hour.

Job duties include general maintenance of HVAC units and plumbing, work orders processing, and minor electrical repairs. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• HVAC and plumbing maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform calculations.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general maintenance on heating/air conditioning units.
• Replace burned out ballasts.
• Repair minor plumbing leaks and problems.
• Receive and generate work orders and complete promptly.
• Repair broken lockers and assist students with jammed lockers as needed.
• Perform electrical repairs (switches, wall plugs, etc.).
• Follow instructions, prioritize and analyze work orders.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain quality service, teamwork and communication with staff and district employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
