Job summary

Capstone On-Campus Management Llc is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician at Towson University in Towson, MD. This full-time role supports daily maintenance operations, completes work orders, and collaborates with the maintenance team on campus. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of maintenance experience, and hands-on skills with tools.

EPA HVAC certification is preferred; a valid driver's license is required. Overtime and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of general maintenance experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills required.
• Must be a team player and collaborate with residents & staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs.
• Valid driver's license required.
• EPA Certification for HVAC Systems; Universal preferred.
• Available for after-hours on-call rotation and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Responds to all maintenance requests within a reasonable timeframe.
• Identifies facility deficiencies and recommends remedies.
• Participates in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Works mandatory overtime as needed.
• Escorts contractors on-site.
• Assists with room setups and furniture movement.
• Performs inspections when units are vacated.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks on time.
• Submits requests for materials and supplies.
• Reports progress to the Facilities Director daily.
• Maintains quality workmanship and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
