Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in building maintenance.
• Technical certificate preferred.
• Valid in-State Driver’s License and insurability.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facility systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders accurately.
• Inspect building systems for safe and efficient operation.
• Research and recommend replacement equipment when needed.
• Assist with overseeing contractors performing repairs or equipment installations.
• Support and mentor students in work-based learning activities.
• Maintain campus buildings and grounds for appearance and functionality.
• Provide student transportation when needed.
• Plan and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines with quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to provide an outstanding student experience.
• Model professionalism, accountability, and respect.
• Promote a safe, supportive, inclusive campus environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
