Job summary

Liberty Dogs Foundation is seeking a Maintenance Associate to join the Operations team on our 27-acre campus. This full-time role ensures all facilities, grounds and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and reliability.

You will perform inspections, assist in maintenance tasks, manage supplies and inventory, handle trash and waste, support seasonal operations such as snow removal, and respond to spills while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar technical role.
• This role requires the ability to prioritize workflows, has strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Must pass a background check and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of the assigned buildings, grounds and equipment to ensure the campus meets organizational and cleanliness standards .
• Assist in maintenance of the assigned buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Ensure supplies throughout the campus are well stocked and inventory levels are maintained.
• Collect building trash, recycle and waste from assigned buildings and take them to the campus collection center.
• Support seasonal operations, including snow removal and weather-related preparation or response.
• Clean andmaintainassigned areas (e.g., lobbies, hallways, restrooms, storage areas, service corridors) according to departmental standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff floors; clean walls, windows, mirrors, furniture, upholstery, fixtures.
• Replenish supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, amenities) in restrooms andcommon areas.
• Respond to spills, cleanupand sanitize as needed, following infection-control (or hygienic) and safety protocols.
• Additional duties as assigned.
