Job summary

River Valley Church seeks a Campus Facility Support to maintain the campus daily, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. The role covers custodial work, minor repairs, and coordination with the Facilities Director for larger projects.

Responsibilities include building security, routine upkeep, and assisting with event support. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of related experience are preferred. This is an hourly, non-exempt position based on the Minnetonka campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; one year of custodial or building maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems to identify/report issues.
• Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment and follow safety guidelines.
• Customer-service oriented approach when interacting with staff, volunteers, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily campus maintenance to ensure safety, cleanliness and functionality.
• Monitor and secure building, doors, windows, and alarms as needed.
• Assist with opening/closing and basic upkeep, including restocking supplies.
• Support minor repairs within skill set; escalate complex issues to Facilities Director.
• Coordinate with facilities team and vendors for larger projects.
