Job summary

The role involves inspecting equipment, identifying malfunctions, making repairs, and coordinating with customers and supervisors on access needs.

The position requires at least one year of locksmith experience or related skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least one year of locksmith experience or related skills.
• Experience with locks, cylinders, doors and hardware.
• Experience shimming and planing doors.
• Carpentry experience.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment, identify malfunctions, and complete repairs across campus facilities.
• Work with locks, cylinders, doors, hardware, and access-control systems.
• Door hardware installation and adjustment to meet access needs.
• Participate in training covering master keying, electronic locking, and code compliance.
• Communicate with customers, team members, contractors, and supervisors.
