Job summary

Western Piedmont Community College seeks a dynamic Student Life and Recruitment Coordinator to enhance campus engagement, support student programs, and drive recruitment initiatives across the service area.

You will advise student leadership, coordinate events and orientations, and collaborate with Marketing to promote programs, working across departments to ensure student success from first contact through graduation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight travel as required.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the College's service area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate campus activities, student events, clubs, and organizations that promote student engagement and success.
• Advise the Student Government Association (SGA) and support student leadership development.
• Assist with planning and implementing new student orientation and retention initiatives.
• Coordinate recruitment events, campus tours, and outreach activities both on and off campus.
• Represent WPCC at area high schools, community events, college fairs, and other recruitment opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote academic programs, student services, and campus events.
• Assist with strategic enrollment and recruitment initiatives.
• Help manage Student Activities resources and budgets.
• Build positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, schools, and community partners.
• Participate in College committees, professional development, and other duties as assigned.
