Berklee College of Music is seeking a Student Library Assistant to help students, faculty, and staff access library materials and services on campus. Under supervision, you will locate items, place holds, check items in/out, and keep the catalog updated.

This role supports the library's daily operations and may involve special projects. The position offers an hourly rate of $16.97 and requires current enrollment, good standing, and strong communication with patrons.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Berklee student in good standing and enrolled at least half-time.
• Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA or above.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow library policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons in locating library materials and placing holds.
• Check materials in and out using library software.
• Update catalog and item statuses (lost, missing, damaged).
• Preserve security of the collection and keep shelves in order.
• Process Interlibrary Loan requests and assists with holds.
