Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College—ABAC Bainbridge Library is seeking a Librarian to manage daily library operations, supervise staff, and deliver reference and instruction services. Qualifications

• Master of Library Science or Master of Library Information Systems from an accredited program.
• 1–3 years working in a library setting; knowledge of library processes.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and empower students to succeed; strong computer and technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and services of the ABAC Bainbridge Library branch.
• Supervise part-time employee and student workers.
• Provide reference services for patrons of the Bainbridge Library.
• Cover library instruction for classes with adherence to the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy.
• Coordinate accommodations with Academic Support including course registration, testing, and tutoring.
• Facilitate testing accommodations with a designated study room and monitoring as needed.
• Assist with collection development, acquisitions, cataloging and reference duties.
• Participate in Library 2.0 services across campus (social media, website, calendars, email, online help/tutorials).
• Promote library awareness across campus.
