Job summary

Boerne ISD seeks a dynamic educational leader to Direct and manage assigned areas of instructional program and campus operations. This role oversees student activities and services, ensures compliance with state and district policies, and leads budgeting and scheduling tasks across the campus.

The position requires a Master’s Degree, Texas principal certification, and a minimum of two years as a classroom teacher.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Mid-Management or Principal Certification.
• Minimum of two years as a classroom teacher.
• Current or eligible for AEL/ILT/ILD and T-TESS appraiser certification.
• Fingerprinting background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support development of innovative instructional programs and pilot when appropriate.
• Reinforce staff performance expectations for instructional strategies and classroom management.
• Foster collegiality and team building among staff and encourage involvement in decisions.
• Lead planning of activities and programs to meet the school’s mission.
• Participate in campus improvement planning with staff, parents, and community.
