Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four years of landscape maintenance or construction experience.
• One year supervisory experience.
• Experience with plants, shrubs, trees, lawns; ability to operate landscape equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a crew of gardeners and groundskeepers.
• Operates landscape equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Ensures completion of instructions, assigns work, and maintains attendance records.
• Maintains PPE and safety standards; reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs soil amendments, mulching, fertilizing, irrigation as directed.
• Operates university vehicles and maintains driver rating.
• Overtime as needed to support campus goals.
